Felix32 Light

Felix32 Light is a freeware program to display, plot and convert into .BMP or .WMF format standard Drawing .DXF files.

DXF is an acronym for Drawing eXchange Format. DXF is an ASCII replication of the contents of a drawing file enabling the interchange of files from one CAD system to another program. DXF import/export is supported by a wide variety of applications, ranging from CAD products to word processors, desktop publishing and illustration tools. The DXF CAD format has become the defacto standard in PC based CAD industry with many other CAD systems able to read and write this format too.

Felix32 Light has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and DXFReader ActiveX Control to show some of the features of this control that allow viewing, manipulating and plotting directly from the AutoCAD drawing file format DXF.

Registered users of DXFReader will receive the source code of Felix32 Light

Using Felix32 Light

You can use Felix32 Light to display, saving in different formats and plotting every DXF files.

To access Felix32 Light click the Felix32 Light icon in the Kadmos group.

To open an existing DXF file, choose File|Open.
To save the current DXF file, choose File|Save As.
To plot the current DXF file, choose File|Print.
To zoom the current DXF file, choose View|Drawing|Zoom.

You can access the program's functions using the toolbar:

	Open Existing Drawings
	Save Current Drawing With this function is possible to save the opened DXF file in different format. In the combo box "Save as:" on the "Save Drawing" dialog you can choose the saving format.
	Plot Preview
	Plot Drawing
	Copy current drawing on clipboard
	Pan drawing After selecting this function select the distance first point on the drawing clicking and releasing with mouse. Then select the second point. A rubber band line will show the selection.
	Zoom Previous Zooms to the preceding value. Ten zoom levels are stored.
	Zoom Window After selecting this function select the window first point on the drawing clicking and releasing with mouse. Then select the second point. A rubber band box will show the window.
	Zoom Limits Zooms a drawing to the full limits.
	Zoom Extents Zooms to the full drawing extents.
	Zoom In Zooms in a drawing by a 50% factor from the center point of the drawing.
	Zoom Out Zooms out a drawing by a 50% factor from the center point of the drawing.
	Show drawing informations Will show the following window
